These tables were developed from data which were reported to the Society
for Assisted Reproduction (S.A.R.T.) and the Centers for Disease Control
(C.D.C.).
These data are all results of blastocyst embryo transfer.
Each couple's chance of a liveborn is variable and individually based on diagnosis. A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics and treatment approaches vary from clinic to clinic. The following statistics as reported to S.A.R.T. include couples whose chance of success is significantly less than the overall program including severe male factor and women greater than 40 years of age.
